Alone among the ruins

The city of skyscrapers rose before the eyes. It looked both majestic and depressing. But the main thing that caused discouragement is a clear sense of life absence. Most recently shining by various colored lights buildings now gaped with empty holes with shards of glass, stone and metal. A single traveler sadly paved his way, skirting the dilapidated the ruins and stepping over the various garbage that filled the gaps between something called the dwelling of man. Now the traveller's thoughts touched on more close and vital way of his own survival, one on one with the remnants of human civilization.
A man walked and thought about his loneliness. And someone else, some stranger, which carefully and with some curiosity watched him, sitting highly and merging with the stone debris. Who is he, an adversary or an ally? And how will their relationship develop further in this new ill world?..
